On Wednesday, November 13, the Redeemer Logic School — every student from grades 6th through 8th — gathered for the annual Spelling Bee. Sheila Byrd, RCS parent and K-12 Academic Strategy Consultant, was the pronouncer.

After some tough competition, sixth grader Matthew Uribe emerged the victor, spelling “linguist” to win the bee. Eighth grader Aubrey Velker placed second.

Matthew will represent Redeemer at the Regional Bee in March.
